Elon Musk Sends Tesla Roadster Into Space
Elon Musk is the successful, multi billionaire entrepreneur and the CEO/founder of SpaceX and Tesla. On Tuesday at around 9:30, Elon Musk launched a Tesla Roadster into space. Currently, the Tesla Roadster is in orbit around Earth.
The launch was not hard for Elon Musk to pull off. His SpaceX company is already highly successful and with the knowledge he has from SpaceX, the Tesla into space is not a bad idea.
The Roadster is currently traveling at 18,000 miles per hour and is traveling across space. While the Tesla is in orbit now, knowing how ambitious and high achieving Elon Musk is, I imagine that he has many more plans in store for the Tesla Roadster in space. I have always admired Elon Musk for his creative ideas and his
awesome businesses and a Tesla in space proves his ingenuitive, creative mind.
It has exceeded the Mars orbit and is planned to arrive at the asteroid belt soon, but it most likely it won’t land on an asteroid. Many people wonder where the Tesla Roadster is headed.
Inside Tesla, Starman, an dummy person, is in the driver’s seat. Starman is in the control section, but is mostly there to symbolize a person driving in space, but is not in control of the car.
So a Tesla in space is a huge step towards further space travel, but currently not much is up with the Tesla. It will be very interesting to see what the Tesla Roadster will do in the future.
